Students are evaluated through a series of assessments to determine strengths and weaknesses. The assessments evaluate reading, writing, and comprehension. This provides a thorough picture of the student’s ability and level. An assessment is recommended for students struggling at their present grade level. Students are evaluated once again after 3-4 months of instruction. |

All students differ in learning styles, ability, level, strengths, and weaknesses. The benefits of an individualized plan of instruction are far- reaching for the student. The differences between classroom learning with 25-30 students per teacher and learning with a one-on-one literacy specialist who is equipped with your child’s individual evaluation are incomparable. The gains are seen almost immediately. |

Students are guided and given immediate feedback, which allows the learning to progress at a rapid pace. There is no better way to learn than with the individual attention and guidance of a literacy specialist.
